Giving one
No wrapping, no delivery date to get wrong, and nothing that announces a price to the person receiving it. The simplest version of this takes about a minute.
Checkout is the same as any other purchase. Your receipt arrives by email a moment later and carries the license key inside it. The key is not tied to you, so handing it on costs nothing and takes nothing away from your own use.
The easiest way, and the truest one. The receipt already contains everything they need: the key, a gentle explanation of what the gift is, and a link to begin. You add a line in your own words at the top and send it on.
The twelve months begin the day they first use the key — not the day you bought it. Buy it in November for a January birthday and they lose nothing.
You will not see what they write, when they open it, or whether they open it at all. There is nothing for us to report back to you — which is rather the point of a gift like this.
The page they land on never mentions what it cost. Neither does the app, the key, or anything we send them. A gift that quietly states its own price is not really a gift, and we would rather be the kind of company that understands that.

And the honest other half. We are a small company, and small companies are not immortal. If we ever had to close, we would tell you well ahead of time and make sure you could take what is yours with you. We are not planning for that. We are simply refusing to use a word carelessly, because plenty of others have and people got hurt.

Why we wrote this out: "lifetime" is the easiest word in software to use badly. Saying what it actually covers, before you pay rather than after, is the whole difference between a promise and a pitch.

No. Let Him Carry It is not pastoral care, counseling, therapy, or medical treatment and does not replace any of them. It is the quiet ten minutes between you and Him, available at any hour. If what you are carrying is heavier than that, the app will say so plainly and point you to a real person first.
