This is the whole policy in one sentence: we do not keep your words. Everything below is the honest detail behind that.

He already knows. We don't need to.

The short version

• No account. We never ask your name, your church, your age, or your phone number.
• Your burdens, verses, prayers, and journal live on your device only. Not on our servers. Not in a database. Nowhere we can reach.
• No trackers, no pixels, no advertising, no profiles. We do not sell or share anything about you, because we do not have anything about you.
• The only things we ever receive are an email address you type in, a payment handled by our processor, and feedback you deliberately choose to send.

There is no account

You never make one. There is no profile with your name on it anywhere, because there is no profile at all. Nothing you do here is tied to an identity.

Where your words actually live

On your device, in your browser's own storage — the same place a website remembers your login. Your burdens, your Kept verses and prayers, your parked items, and your record of what He has held are saved there and nowhere else. We cannot read them. We could not hand them to anyone if we were asked, because we do not have them.

The one moment your words leave the device

When you tap Hand it to Him, the text is sent to our sorting service to decide what belongs in Cast and what belongs in Carry. It is processed in memory and returned in seconds. It is never written to a database, never logged, and never seen by a person. When the piles come back, the copy is gone.

If you are offline, even that does not happen — the app sorts on your own device instead.

Your prayer never leaves at all

The prayer is assembled entirely on your device, from your own words. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else. It exists nowhere but in front of the person praying it — unless you keep it or choose to send it to someone you love.

No trackers, no pixels, no analytics

There are no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, and no cross-site following. We do not run analytics inside the app. This is deliberate, and it has a cost we accept: we genuinely cannot see how people use this. It is why the question at the end of a session matters so much.

Our host keeps ordinary server logs (the kind every website has) for security and reliability. These may include an IP address and a page name for a short period. They contain nothing you wrote.

When you choose to share your voice

After a session you may tap "Did this help?" and answer, optionally adding a sentence and your email. This only ever sends what you typed into that box — your yes or no, your message, and your email if you gave one. It never includes a burden, a verse, or a prayer. It is sent only when you tap Share, and it arrives as an email to us. If you leave the email field blank, we have no way to know who you are.

What we do collect

• Your email address — only if you type it in and submit it. Used for occasional notes about the app and to reply to you. Never sold. Unsubscribe any time.
• Payment details — handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your card. We receive a licence key, which is not connected to anything you write.
• Feedback you send — as described above.
• Plain traffic counts — how many people visited a page, with no profiles attached.

The companies that help us run this

We keep this list short on purpose, and we name them plainly:

• Our hosting provider — serves the pages and runs the sorting function.
• Anthropic — provides the sorting service your text passes through. It is processed and discarded, not used to train models, and not retained.
• Lemon Squeezy — handles payment and subscriptions, and acts as merchant of record.
• Our email providers — deliver our occasional notes and carry any feedback you choose to send.

Each holds only the narrow slice described here. None of them receives your burdens, your journal, or your prayers.

Crisis safety

If what you write suggests you may be in danger, the app stops everything else and shows care resources first — including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and findahelpline.com. That check happens on your device. We are not told it happened, no alert is sent to us or anyone else, and nothing about it is recorded. It never sits behind a payment.

Children

Let Him Carry It is made for adults and is not directed to children. Subscribing requires being 18 (see our terms), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 — or under 16 where that is the local threshold. If you believe a child has sent us an email address, write to us and we will delete it straight away.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in Europe and the UK, and the CCPA/CPRA in California — you have rights to access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of personal information a company holds about you, and to object to its processing.

Here is the unusual part: for almost everything, there is nothing for us to hand over or delete, because it never reached us. What you wrote is on your device and under your control. Where we do hold something — your email address, a payment record, feedback you sent — write to hello@lethimcarryit.com and we will act on your request, free of charge, within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have handled something badly, you may also complain to your national data protection authority — though we would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.

For the small amount we do handle, our lawful bases under the GDPR are simple: performing our contract with you (running the service you paid for), your consent (the email address you chose to give us), and our legitimate interests and legal obligations (keeping payment records, and keeping the service secure).

We have never sold or shared personal information, and we never will. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Where things are processed

We are a United States company and our providers process data in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, the limited information described above is handled in the US under standard contractual protections.

How long we keep things

Your words: not at all. Email addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires. Feedback: until it is no longer useful, and you may ask us to delete it sooner.

Deleting everything

Clear your browser's site data for lethimcarryit.com and every trace is gone from your device — instantly and permanently, with nothing left on our side to delete. Because that is final, save a copy of your Kept verses and prayers first if you want to keep them.

This is not therapy or pastoral care

Let Him Carry It is not counseling, therapy, medical treatment, or pastoral care, and it does not replace any of them. It is not an emergency service. Please see the terms for the full statement.

If any of this changes

We will say so plainly on this page and date it. The covenant — that we do not keep your words — is not something we intend to change, ever. It is the product.
